It does not automatically send a birthday wish to the person or post to their group. ## Set a yearly birthday reminder in three steps Use a name you will recognise, spell out the month, and include a time. Edit Priya's name and birthday in the example before sending it. 1. **Send the birthday and the repeat** Tap the example to open Poko. In this example, the gift reminder is May 8 and the birthday is May 12. When it arrives, open the person's chat and write your message, make a call, or arrange the gift. Poko does not scan your address book to find birthdays. Enter each date yourself. Use distinct names so you can identify each one. To change a reminder, name the person and give the corrected date and time, then check the new confirmation. To remove one, send “cancel N” with its number from the latest list. If you added both a birthday and a gift reminder, they are separate schedules: change or cancel each one you no longer need. - `list` - `cancel 2` - `help` ## Set anniversaries and other dates that repeat The same method works for a wedding anniversary or another event on a fixed calendar date. Include “every year” to repeat it, or omit the repeat for a one-time plan. For an occasion whose calendar date changes each year, look up the correct date and set a one-time reminder.
