# When is Purim 2027?

> When is Purim 2027? Countdown to the Megillah reading, the date, and WhatsApp reminders for costumes and mishloach manot.

Starts at sunset on Monday, March 22, 2027. Purim falls on 14 Adar and begins at sunset the evening before: 22 March 2027 and 11 March 2028.

Purim is the most playful day of the Jewish year: costumes, the Megillah reading, gifts of food to friends and a festive meal. In Jerusalem it is celebrated a day later, on Shushan Purim.
Costumes for children sell out in the week before, and mishloach manot need assembling the day before. Two reminders.
