# Days until Halloween 2026

> How many days until Halloween 2026? Countdown to October 31, the weekday it falls on, and WhatsApp reminders for costumes, candy and the pumpkin.

It falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Halloween is October 31 every year.

Halloween is the same date everywhere it is celebrated, but the weekday matters: a weekend Halloween means parties on the Saturday, a weekday one means trick-or-treating right after school.
Costumes sell out in the last week, and the pumpkin bought too early rots on the doorstep. Two reminders cover both.

## Questions, answered

**Is Halloween a holiday?** No. It is a normal working day in the US and the UK; schools and offices stay open.

**When do people trick-or-treat if it is a weekday?** The evening of the 31st, usually between 5 and 8pm. Many neighbourhoods move parties to the nearest Saturday.

**How do the reminders work?** Each Remind me button opens WhatsApp with one message already typed for Poko, dated for this year's occurrence. You press Send, Poko confirms the date, and the message arrives on WhatsApp when it is due. Nothing is sent by this page.
