# Days until Christmas 2026

> How many days until Christmas 2026? Live countdown to December 25, the day of the week it falls on, and WhatsApp reminders for gifts, cards and the last posting dates.

It falls on Friday, December 25, 2026. Christmas Day is December 25 every year.

Christmas Day is a public holiday in the US, the UK and most of Europe, and Boxing Day on December 26 is a holiday in the UK, Ireland and much of the Commonwealth. Which weekday it lands on decides how long the break is.
What slips is not the date. It is the last posting date for cards and parcels, the gift you meant to order in November, and the one relative you always forget. Each of those is a reminder.
